Seth Tillman gave Clemson another major recruiting victory on Saturday, announcing his commitment to the Tigers over Georgia, South Carolina, and Michigan.
The South Pointe High (Rock Hill, SC) defensive tackle is rated No. 116 overall and the No. 11 interior defensive lineman in the 2027 class by Rivals. The 247Sports Composite ranks him No. 123 nationally and the No. 12 defensive lineman in the country.
Tillman's commitment came just days after the death of his father, Reginald Tillman, who passed away Tuesday at the age of 62.
Tillman (6'2, 300) becomes Clemson's second in-state defensive tackle pledge in the class, joining Dutch Fork High's Jaden Wuerth of Irmo, SC. His commitment also pushes the Tigers' class to 25 commitments.
One of the top defensive prospects in South Carolina, Tillman played a pivotal role in leading South Pointe to the SCHSL Class 4A state championship last season. Anchoring the Stallions' defensive front, he recorded 61 tackles and 8.5 sacks in 13 games.
