Feaster's potential departure opens up Clemson's options at running back

After Tavien Feaster decided to enter the transfer portal, the Clemson backfield will have a new rotation. Sophomore Lyn-J Dixon will certainly see an increase in snaps while two freshman could also see the field frequently.

The Clemson football team entered the spring with plenty of experience at running back. Travis Etienne, Tavien Feaster and Lyn-J Dixon were all set to carry the load, but following Feaster’s departure freshmen Chez Mellusi and Michel Dukes could have plenty of opportunities this fall.

Last year, the three-headed monster of Etienne, Feaster and graduate Adam Choice occupied the backfield with Dixon making several jaw-dropping runs in limited action.
