The Oakland Raiders added their third former Clemson Tiger this afternoon taking wideout Hunter Renfrow during the 5th round of today’s NFL Draft.

The leadership in Oakland sent a clear message that they are interested in high-character players and taking Clelin Ferrell (4th pick) and Trayvon Mullen (40th pick) earlier in the draft.

Raider head coach Jon Gruden noted, “We’re killing it at Clemson, man. We’re gonna bring in Dabo Swinney next.”

Renfrow, who caught the game-winning touchdown pass during Clemson’s 2016 National Championship run went from being a walk-on to one of the most steady receivers in Tiger history.

The Myrtle Beach native finished his collegiate career appearing in 55 games with 47 starts and totaled 186 catches for 2,133 yards and 15 touchdowns.
