Tigers add second 2020 running back as 3-star Kobe Pryor commits

High-value, 3-star running back Kobe Pryor‍ will be a Clemson Tiger.

Pyror announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, adding himself into what is already a monster recruiting class with Demarkcus Bowman‍ committing two weeks ago.

The 5’10, 200-pound Cedartown, Ga. native will add another young piece into Tony Elliott’s running back room and will have opportunities when he gets to Clemson to compete for a backup role behind Lyn-J Dixon, who burst on to the scene for the Tigers in 2018 and Travis Etienne, who has taken the college football world by storm the past several seasons.

Pyror’s high school offense is similar to Clemson’s offense with the formations that you see with Clemson’s running backs line up in. Pyror runs hard and when he gets to the second level, he has the ability to put six points on the scoreboard in a hurry.
