'SEC Nation' headed to Columbia for Clemson-South Carolina Showdown
It is shaping up to be an exciting and emotionally charged atmosphere on November 25th in Williams-Brice Stadium when Clemson visits South Carolina in hopes of checking off yet another team goal by "winning the state".
South Carolina could be an 8 win team heading into the contest as two bowl-eligible teams will square off. South Carolina will be seeking revenge after last season's 56-7 loss to the Tigers in Death Valley.
In preparation for the 7:30 PM kickoff, pregame festivities will be taking place from the moment the sun rises in Columbia. One of the highlighted events will be ‘SEC Nation’ paying a visit to the Palmetto Bowl.
Making a stop at one of the biggest SEC games each week, the college football kickoff show features host Laura Rutledge, along with analysts Marcus Spears, Paul Finebaum, Tim Tebow, and reporter Lauren Sisler.
The Saturday kickoff show will be televised on the SEC Network from 10 a.m. to noon at Gamecock Park.
Another event to note is that Paul Finebaum will host “The Paul Finebaum Show” from the campus of the University of South Carolina on November 24th.
Finebaum has gone back and forth with his support and criticism of Clemson football and their fans this season.
