The Playoff Committee's second set of rankings for 2019 were released moments ago and Clemson moved into the Top 4 of the standings. Clemson is ranked No. 3 after both No. 3 Alabama and No. 4 Penn State lost last week.
No. 1 LSU vaulted past Ohio State for the top spot. The Buckeyes now sit at No. 2, while Georgia moved up to No. 4 even with the worst loss among the top teams after falling to a South Carolina team that is just 4-6 on the season.
Clemson is 10-0 with a matchup against Wake Forest coming up this weekend in Death Valley.
Clemson had been in the top four for 24 consecutive releases until last week. The Tigers are currently riding the nation’s longest winning streak at 25 games.
