Tigers haul in four-star Texas quarterback
Clemson 2022 class got a shot in the arm, literally and figuratively, moments ago when four-star quarterback Cade Klubnik committed to the Tigers just days after picking up an offer.
Klubnik committed using an Instagram video:
Klubnik is the starting quarterback at Westlake High (Austin, TX), a power program in the Lone Star State. The rising senior put on a show during the 6A Div I state championship game this past season, knocking off Southlake Carroll, 52-34, racking up 317 total yards of offense, scored 3 touchdowns, and was named the Offensive MVP.
Following Ty Simpson’s commitment to Alabama on Friday afternoon, the Tigers looked further west and found their guy Klubnik, who held offers from a laundry list to top programs, including Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Texas.
Klubnik becomes the fourth player in Clemson’s 2022 class, joining offensive linemen Blake Miller and Collin Sadler along with wideout Adam Randall.
