On the receivers vs wideouts:
"You better show up every day. It's very competitive out here. I'm really excited about what I've seen out of (Andrew) Booth the last couple days. He's really having a good camp. It's just really competitive. I think (Joe) Ngata has responded. I didn't really like how he started camp, but man these last couple days, he's out your playing 224. Ajou (Ajou) has been incredibly consistent."

"Beaux (Collins) bummed his shoulder up the first day, hopefully getting him back first the next week. The guys that have been out there have been really competing. It's fun to watch the one on ones-- it's a lot of fun. We've got some good experience at that position and then you take the guy like the Dacari (Collins) and Beaux, who's been here since January, and they're a lot further long than a guy that just shows up."

"Really pleased with Frank (Ladson). Frank has had an excellent camp. Dacari has made a bunch of progress. So it's it's a really good group."

On what he’s seen from the team:
"We got a lot of installation-- we are five days in-- it's a lot of football that has been put in on these guys. It's gonna continue to pile up, because we're building the foundation for the season right now. We're not getting ready for Georgia-- we're building the foundation for the whole season. So we've got a lot to do, but it's what you want to see at that position, from both sides-- from a competitive standpoint and an ability standpoint."

 On Andrew Booth:
"He's taking that next step. Like I said earlier in camp, the only thing that's held Andre Booth back is being available. That's it. Everybody says what do you want to see out of Booth? I just want see him here. I just won't put my eyes on him-- in uniform. If he's in uniform every day, he's ready-- the rest will take care of itself. He's a really good player. He's just been consistently here and he feels good. I'm really proud of him. He's got a good look in his eye."

On the young quarterbacks:
"I'm amazed at Will Taylor. I'm amazed at him-- and Billy Wiles, both of those guys. Just their ability to pick things up and being able to go out and function and process things like they're doing. They're getting a lot of reps. Hunter (Helms) obviously has been here a year. He's got a very good grasp and a very good foundation to our system. Hunter's way better than he was in the spring. He's just playing with a little more confidence. I thought at times was a little overwhelmed in the spring. He's had some highs and some lows, but he's been very consistent."

"Will Taylor is special. I mean-- he is special. We know what he is, from an athletic standpoint, and this kid can play quarterback at a high level. It's gonna serve us well, for a long time. Then Billy Wiles? To have a guy like that come in here as a walk-on? We're so fortunate and blessed because he's got a lot of ability."
