From 2015-19, Clemson became the first school to defeat Florida State in ACC play in five consecutive games, a streak Clemson will attempt to push to six straight games with a win on Saturday. Miami (Fla.) previously defeated Florida State in six straight games from 2000- 04, including a bowl game, but only the final game of that streak came during Miami’s ACC membership.

Florida State's Ontaria Wilson appears to have made an incredible catch near the Seminole bench but it's likely not going to stand after this review on 3rd down.

B.T. Potter knocks through the 47-yard field goal to end a solid drive for Clemson with some quick throws from DJ. We saw a little bit Phil Mafah on that drive as well. 3-0 Clemson with 5:32 to play in the opening quarter.

Excellent play design by Florida State -- Seminoles score on the quick bubble screen to the left. Tigers only had 2 defenders on the play. The XP is blocked and FSU leads 6-3 with 19 seconds to play in the first. Clemson's defense with some uncharacteristic penalties early.

B.T. Potter shanked it to the left on the field goal attempt. Florida State maintains the lead at 6-3. Shipley just couldn't maintain control on the third down throw that would've been a first down. Seminoles get the ball back after the timeout with 12:12 to play before the half.

I knew it wouldn't be long before Phil Mafah busted one. He hits a 65-yard run on the first play to get Clemson in scoring position. Tigers just called a timeout facing third down when play resumes. We have 8:33 to play before the half with Florida State leading 6-3.

DJU connects with Sage Ennis on the fade route for an 11-yard TD reception. Great catch by Ennis as well. Clemson takes their first lead of the game, 10-6 with 8:28 to play before the half.

Wow. Florida State's Lawrence Tofali and the offense take advantage of a mismatch and Tofali lands on top of Jones and keeps running for a 75-yard touchdown. It's under review but that looks like a touchdown to me.

Touchdown is confirmed. He never went down. Noles re-take the lead at 13-10 with 8:14 to play before the half.

Tigers go back to running the ball on that last drive with Will Shipley. He caps off the drive with a touchdown. Clemson re-takes the lead at 17-13 with 3:41 to play before the half. Shootout, anyone?

HALFTIME: Clemson leads Florida State 17-13. An interesting first half as the Tigers have gone to the run game offensively and we've seen some uncharacteristic penalties for the Tigers' defense as FSU has put together some nice drives. We'll see who can get the upper hand in the second half.

For the life of me, I cannot understand this offense or why D.J. continues to get snaps. It's obvious there's something wrong with him compared to last season. I think it's 100% mental.
