On Clemson's defensive play:
"Incredibly disappointed with the opening kick return-- kind of a crazy play, just did not leverage the ball properly-- that was a little frustrating, but a bad way to set the tone. Defensively, just amazing from there 0-18 on third and fourth down."
On finishing having a strong 'middle eight':
"I love how we finished the first half; I thought that was tremendous-- right down the field there in 49 seconds. Then I love how we started the third quarter, so back-to-back touchdowns right there. The middle eight there-- right at the end of the first half and the way we started the third quarter. I wish I could have played D.J. a little bit more because I thought he was getting in rhythm there, but we needed to get him out."
On the seniors final home game:
"I love this senior group. These guys have had wonderful careers. Just a bunch of good people, and they've got a chance to do something that hadn't been done around here a long time-- back-to-back senior groups walk out here undefeated at home. That hadn't happened since 1940-1941. There's a reason why it hadn't happened since then, because it's hard to win, especially consistently."
On if Justyn Ross' injury was his leg:
"It's more of his foot. He's been pretty amazing. Justyn (Ross) has played with a very, very small stress fracture, all year long, in his foot and hadn't missed a beat-- really has done well. [It] really hasn't been bothering him. He kind of rolled his ankle on his other foot last week, and that was what we had to get him ready for this week. He just kind of planted wrong. It's something he's been battling and all year long. I mean, since Day 1, since before Georgia-- he's been battling this. He's not had any issues with it after he got through the first week or two. He got caught in a pile and just kind of tweaked it a little bit. So, we'll see where he is tomorrow, and we'll go from there."
On Wake Forest:
"I see a complete football team. I see a very well-coached football team. A team with a lot of cohesion, a lot of belief. An incredible winning attitude-- guys that play hard. They play tough. Schematically, defensively, they do some similar things that we've seen throughout the season, but they just do them well. Yeah, they gave up a lot of rush yards against North Carolina. Well, guess what? They came back this weekend, and they shut the rush down versus N.C. State who is a great running football team. I just think that they're a very complete team. They maximize their depth. They've been fortunate they've been able to keep some of their key guys, especially offensively, healthy. I think that's been critical. They've leaned on that offense, man. That's been an unbelievable group. I mean, just amazing to watch them execute. It's the best group of receivers we've seen all year, period."
