Clemson loses another commit, five-star CB Daylen Everette opens recruitment

The hits keep coming for Clemson following Brent Venables' departure from Tiger Town as five-star CB Daylen Everette‍ de-committed from the Tigers moments ago via Twitter.

Everette becomes the third IMG Academy player to back off of his pledge to the Tigers this week. Clemson's uncertainty at defensive coordinator is clearly a factor at this point for many players on the defensive side of the ball, including Jihaad Campbell‍ and Keon Sabb‍ who also broke off their commitments to Clemson this week.

With less than a week until the early signing period, Clemson’s 2022 class is currently down to 12 commits.
