As Clemson gets set to face Iowa State today in the Cheez-It Bowl, Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables sent a message to Tiger Nation and his former players via his Twitter account.
Venables, who left Clemson earlier this month left a lasting legacy in Tiger Town, but clearly, the Tigers left a huge imprint on the former defensive coordinator as well.
Earlier this month, Venables got choked up talking about Dabo Swinney and his time at Clemson.
Venables’ 16th ranked Sooners will face off with 14th ranked Oregon tonight at 9:15 on ESPN, but former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops will be on the sideline.
