Swinney says WR Adam Randall 'super excited' to get on the field Saturday

On Adam Randall:

"He's been super excited. He's been going for a couple of weeks-- but all on the scout team. It's great to have him. He's a high-character kid. A high Football IQ kid. I high effort kid."

On the wideouts:

"We are trying to really develop great experience. I love our guys. I think we've got a great group-- but our most veteran guy isn't that experienced."

On WR blocking downfield:

"Outside of just a couple of plays here or there. In totality, we've worked really hard on it. Big plays come with the type of effort in blocking on the second level. We are headed in the right direction."

On Walker Parks move to guard: "He's a natural. He's a football player. Really love him. Great effort. As tough as they come. He's been very good in his assignments."

On playing the spread:

"We've seen a lot of these teams that spread it around. At the end of the day, it's knowing your job. Lining up appropriately and executing with great effort."

On Tyler Davis and Xavier Thomas:

"He's getting better. He's running full speed. He's close. Same thing with XT. He's getting better. We'll see. We don't play until 8:05 PM on Saturday, so we will need every second."

On the Death Valley updates: "It certainly felt different last week. It's amazing pulling around there-- been doing that a long time-- it has a different feel. It's exciting. Makes a great environment even better. Hopefully, it will be a rocking crowd."
