On what he was thinking during the 52-yard field goal:

“Just belief, that's all it takes.  I was talking about it earlier, and you just have to believe in yourself.  I really didn't even realize there were only four minutes left in the game when I went out there.  Kind of glad I didn't realize.  I just had confidence whenever I went out there.”

On if he ever gets nervous:

“I definitely (get nervous).  The first extra point or field goal of the game, I definitely get a little bit of nerves, but that just reminds me I'm doing the right thing and that I'm excited to be out there doing it.”

On having a short memory:

“I'm not thinking about that (missed kicks) whenever I'm getting ready to play. Sometimes I like to go back and watch the film to see how I've changed as a kicker and as a person from back then.

On a Wake forest defender coming up to block his kick:

“I haven't seen that before, and I remember when that happened. But I try not to think about that too much.”

On kicking from the left hash:

“I enjoy kicking from the left hash.  I feel like it's a lot easier to pull a kick than push a kick.  Whenever I'm on the left hash, I know I can swing through the ball to the right.”

On coach Swinney trusting him:

“It means a lot. It's special, and I enjoy being able to do that for the team.”

On playing NC state after being beaten by them last yea:r

“I guess this is my fourth or fifth time playing them. I'm just locked in like any other game.”
