The Storylines

Clemson will play their third straight night game when they take on Florida State in Tallahassee tonight. The Tigers are coming off a 31-3 win over Boston College last Saturday night. 

This week, Clemson will be in search of its 10th 7-0 start in program history and its seventh such start under Swinney. END 1Q: Clemson and FSU are tied at 7.

Seminoles will have a decision to make whether or not to go for it on 4th and goal when play resumes. Jordan Travis was stopped short of the goal line on the scramble. Impressive quarter from the Seminole offense who has been moving the ball well against a healthy Clemson defense.

I'm surprised at how well FSU's o-line is playing-- at this point, I think the question is if they can keep it up as Clemson's d-line depth comes into play.

Ruling on the field stands. Florida State leads Clemson, 14-7 with 14:55 to play in 2nd quarter. That was a long drive -- Mike Norvell and the Seminoles have looked impressive offensively.

After the fourth down conversion, DJU connects with Jake Briningstool for a 7-yd TD. Clemson answers the FSU score with a 13 play, 75-yard drive that lasted 6 1/2 minutes to tie the game at 14.

8:19 to play before the half. Going back and forth at Doak Campbell.

I love the way Wiggins has been playing. He's matured so much since that Wake game. Sometimes adversity on the biggest stage is what you need to grow-- and he seems to have taken that and made a positive out of it.

B.T. Potter drills the 47-yard field goal on another long drive. This one was 12 plays. Clemson leads FSU 17-14 with 1:51 to play before the half.
