Former Air Force guard Jake Heidbreder (6'5, 180) is committed to Clemson, according to his Twitter and Instagram pages. Heidbreder posted a commitment graphic at 7:54 pm on Wednesday.
The sophomore led Air Force in scoring (15.1 points) and shot 48.8 percent from the field and 39.9 from beyond the arc in 2022-23. In 2021, he averaged 10.4 points (second on the team) and had almost identical numbers from the field (49.8) and beyond the arc (37.9).
Heidbreder, an All-MWC third-team selection, also had a season-high 27 points against South Dakota and made over 86 percent of his 83 free throw attempts in 2022-23.
The Floyd's Knobs, Indiana native will have two years of eligibility left in the Upstate.
