Dabo Swinney has secured a major victory on the football recruiting front with the commitment of 2024 five-star linebacker Sammy Brown. The talented athlete, hailing from Jefferson, GA, has chosen to join the ranks of the Clemson Tigers, bringing his elite skills as the nation’s No. 1 linebacker to Tiger Town.
At 6’2 and 230 pounds, Brown possesses a unique blend of speed, strength, and agility at the linebacker spot. Clemson’s culture played a big part in Brown’s commitment to the Tigers. Brown told ClemsonSportsTalk.com in the fall that Clemson had, ‘'one of the best cultures in college football'.
Brown recently told us that he was 'very close with the coaching staff,’ and that certainly went a long way as Bown, during his visit over the weekend, committed to the Tigers.
Brown’s commitment gives Clemson a huge boost from their recent official visit weekend. It’s safe to say that Brown’s commitment to Clemson reaffirms the program's ability to attract and develop top-tier recruits.
