In 2022, Clemson could have an even better defense than last year's group that finished ranked eighth in total defense. In order for the defense to reach its full potential, the experienced defensive ends must thrive and the younger guys be prepared to play when needed.

The Clemson defense is expected to be improved across the board in 2021. There is experience and talent on every unit but the defensive line, could be the backbone of the team like it was in 2018.
