As the Clemson football team prepares for an improved Florida State squad, offensive coordinator Tony Elliott has a wounded offense that continues to hear it from critics.
The Clemson offense in 2020 was among the best in the country without Justyn Ross and with Frank Ladson and Joseph Ngata basically unavailable. Ross is expected to return in 2021, but the Tigers will need Ladson and Ngata to be healthy and tough physically and mentally to be successful.
The Clemson offense lost speedy running back Travis Etienne to the NFL and will have to find other players to make explosive plays. Speed and explosion are almost synonymous in football and can suddenly change the tempo of a game on either side of the ball. Who has the most speed in 2021?
Receivers have made a name for themselves in national championship games. Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins starred for Clemson in 2019. Ja'Marr Chase was dominant for LSU in 2019, and DeVonta Smith ended a spectacular year torching the Ohio State secondary.

along with a Clemson Sports Talk rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect,
which is then normalized to fit the Clemson Sports Talk Rating 100-point scale.
The intent of this rating is to provide Clemson Sports Talk readers with a comprehensive snapshot of
how individual prospects rank nationally.
