Q: What went into your commitment decision to Clemson?

A: "Family atmosphere- all the coaches, I was so close to them. I really couldn't build no other relationship with no other coaches like I had with Clemson."

Q: What made that relationship special?

A: "I was their first 2023 offer. Since my ninth-grade year, we've been locked in since. I've known them since my brother's been there."

Q: Now, when you look at Clemson, what do you feel like you bring to that program?

A: "A dog. They like to run man coverage. That's what I do. I can go on blitz; I can hit, I can do all that. Wherever they put me, I'm going to make a play."

Q: You mentioned being the first offer- when you reflect on that moment, what do you think of?

A: "Oh, it felt good. You know, he (Coach Swinney) called my brother. He couldn't call me. So, I was working out at the time he called my brother- and my brother had called me in the room. Then that's when he told me. That's when COVID had started. So, they canceled the camps. He was going to offer me at the camp. But they had canceled it, so he called me that night and offered. That felt good. Thank you."

Q: When you look forward, what are your goals for that program and your time at Clemson?

A: "My goals, me and the 2023 class- we trying to go get a national championship. That's what we'll be focused on."

Q: Clemson has turned out some great defensive backs lately. For example- your brother AJ and Andrew Booth. What do you think makes them so good at developing talent at your position?

A: "Coach Reed. They've been putting good DBs in the league; all of them go in the top two rounds- first round, second round. Every year a DB gets drafted from Clemson. That's why I like it up there."

Q: For Clemson fans tuning in, what is your message about you and this group coming in?

A: "We ready, ready, to go get a national championship, we all dogs, and we got something for y'all."

Luke's Take:

Terrell is the next big-time cover corner to come out of Georgia. He's got elite instincts, straight-line speed, and a high-ceiling. Terrell has the talent to be a contributor for the Tigers immediately upon arriving on campus.
