Clemson’s 2024 class added another recruit moments ago as wide receiver Parker Fulghum committed to the Tigers as a preferred walk-on after his recent visit to Tiger Town this past weekend.
Fulghum sat down with ClemsonSportsTalk.com for an exclusive interview on his reason for choosing the Tigers, and it’s a must-read as the underrated prospect checks all the boxes for being the type of player Dabo Swinney covets while filling out his roster.
The 6’1, 190-pound receiver hails from Shreveport, LA, and his father is former LSU quarterback Josh Booty, and his mom also attended school at Lousiana State University, but a weekend visit tipped the scales in favor of Clemson.
Fulghum has offers from several smaller programs, but Power Five programs Clemson and LSU both attempted to land the wideout with a radar verified 4.40 time in the 40-yard dash. He also played in the U.S. Army Bowl, where he caught five passes for over 100 yards.

Following Fulghum’s visit to see Swinney’s program on Saturday, he declined the opportunity to visit the Bayou Bengals this weekend, knowing he had found his home.
