Dorian O'Daniel drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs
Dorian O'Daniel's dream of playing in the NFL has gotten much closer as the former Clemson linebacker was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs with the final pick of the third round.
O'Daniel was the 100th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.
On the NFL Network's coverage, Mike Mayock stated, "Dorian O'Daniel kind of looks and runs like a safety. Undersized linebacker goes sideline to sideline. This is a good football player."
O'Daniel will join former Clemson Tigers Jarvis Jenkins and Sammy Watkins in Kansas City. Watkins recently signed a three year $48 million dollar deal with the Chiefs.
Clemson's other draft-eligible players Deon Cain, Tyrone Crowder, Taylor Hearn, Van Smith, Ryan Carter, and Ray-Ray McCloud will have to wait until tomorrow to find out if they will be drafted.
The 2018 NFL Draft will resume Saturday at noon with the Carolina Panthers making the 101st selection of the draft.
