The Tigers have done it again! Wes Goodwin and company hauled in another top-rated linebacker moments ago with the commitment of four-star linebacker Dee Crayton (Alpharetta, GA). Crayton at 6’2, 215-pounds plays outside linebacker and was recently in Tiger Town on an official visit to Swinney’s Camp on June 11.
Crayton plays at Denmark High School and is the 5th prospect in this class from the Peach State. He is the Tigers' second linebacker commit from Georgia along with Jamal Anderson (Hoschton, GA), who committed on June 13.
Additionally, the Tigers have cornerbacks Avieon Terrell and Branden Strozier (Alpharetta, GA) committed and defensive lineman Victor Burley (Warner Robins, GA) in the “Peach Basket” so to speak.
Crayton told us that Clemson, “Felt like home literally every time I’ve been on campus. That’s exactly what I was looking for.”

The star chose Clemson over Auburn, Missouri, UCF, and Penn State.

With the addition of Crayton, Clemson now has 12 prospects committed in the 2023 class including Christopher Vizzina, Avieon Terrell, Branden Strozier, David Ojigebe, Ian Reed, Jamal Anderson, Kylen Webb, Noble Johnson, Markus Dixon, Victor Burley, and Olsen Patt Henry.
