Clemson’s recent run just won’t stop. It seems like every day or two we are posting another commitment and today that run continued with the commitment of four-star defensive end AJ Hoffler (Woodward Academy, Atlanta, GA).
Hoffler (6'5, 235) announced his commitment on Tuesday night for Clemson over 51 other schools including Arizona State, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio State.
Notably, Tuesday, June 21st is his mom's birthday and Ohio State, his dream school, was perceived to lead for his pledge as late as May.
Last season, Hoffler made 51 tackles (21 for loss), 11 sacks, and three forced fumbles.
He was in Tigertown for an official visit on June 3-5 and previously on March 5 for the Elite Junior Day.
Hoffler is Clemson’s 13th commitment in the class and the 6th pledge from the Peach State joining DE Victor Burley, CB Avieon Terrell, CB Branden Strozier, LB Dee Crayton, and LB Jamal Anderson.
