The Clemson recruiting efforts for the class of 2024 took another step forward as the Tigers land another addition to their roster, as Corian Gipson‍ from Lancaster, TX, pledged to Dabo Swinney’s program moments ago. The pickup of another Lone Star State recruit only serves to solidify their reputation as a top-flight program in college football.

Standing tall at 6'0 and weighing 170 pounds, Gipson brings a unique set of skills and athleticism that have made him one of the most sought-after cornerbacks in the nation.

After a highly competitive recruitment process, Gipson decided to commit to Clemson over Alabama, Ohio State, TCU, and Texas. But ultimately it came down to the Tigers and the Longhorns. His choice continues to show the strength of the Clemson program and its ability to attract top-tier talent from across the country, raising the Tigers’ flag in the Lone Star State once again.

Originally projected as a safety due to his exceptional field vision and play recognition, Gipson's versatility has led scouts and coaches to recognize him as a true corner prospect. He also has the flexibility and speed (10.62 in the 100 meters) to track slot receivers from the nickel position.

With Gipson's commitment, he becomes Clemson's 17th recruit in the class of 2024, further solidifying the Tigers' standing as a power program in college football.
