Clemson Secures Commitment from Four-Star OL Rowan Byrne
Clemson landed a significant commitment from 2025 four-star offensive lineman Rowan Byrne, a 6'6", 300-pound standout from Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, New York. Byrne's addition marks the second commitment for the Tigers in as many days, following four-star defensive back Graceson Littleton pledging yesterday.
Byrne, who visited Clemson during the Tigers' big official visit weekend, was impressed by the program's culture and family atmosphere.
"My parents came, and they both loved it! My biggest takeaway was that the culture and family emphasis was different at Clemson," Byrne told ClemsonSportsTalk.com. "It was an amazing time, for sure."
Clemson offensive line coach Matt Luke values Byrne's length and size, making this commitment a crucial addition to the Tigers' future front line.
Byrne's six finalists were Clemson, Florida State, Michigan State, Penn State, Stanford, and Texas A&M. With his commitment, the Tigers now have 14 players pledged, and Byrne becomes the third offensive lineman in the class, joining four-star Brayden Jacobs and three-star Easton Ware.
