Clemson added a huge commitment today as four-star OL Brayden Jacobs‍, an outstanding prospect, announced his intentions to join the Tiger football program. The reviews we’ve been getting from prospects is that Dabo Swinney and Company hit it out of the park this weekend during the Elite Retreat.

Last week, in our Elite Junior Day update, Luke Winstel projected that he could commit if things went well this weekend.

Hailing from Buford, Georgia (Buford High), Jacobs brings an exceptional skill set and body type to be ready to play on arrival. Standing 6’6, and 310 pounds, his physical prowess is matched only by his passion for the game.

As a note, Jacob’s father is former New Giant running Brandon Jacobs.

New Clemson OL Coach Matt Luke spearheaded Jacob’s recruitment recently, and we believe that was a leading factor in the decision. The entire offensive coaching staff at Clemson recognizes Jacob’s immense potential and eagerly awaits his arrival next year.

Jacobs told us last year, while awaiting an offer from the Tigers, that “Clemson is really good. They haven’t offered yet, but I think it will come.” That offer did indeed get dispensed, and today, it paid off as the Tigers landed a key piece upfront in the 2025 class.

The Tigers have ten players committed in the cycle after today's two pickups and the recent commitment from four-star DE Ari Watford‍.
